COMPREHENSIVE MIDWIFERY CARE FOR Mrs. L.S – SINCE TRIMESTER III PREGNANCY, DELIVERY, POSTPARTUM, NEW BORN, AND FP CARE –
WORK AREA OF SILANGIT HEALTH CENTER, 2023

Every woman will go through the process of pregnancy, childbirth and childbirth. Most likely, in undergoing this process the woman or baby will be faced with health problems that can be at risk of death. To overcome these risks, it is necessary to implement a comprehensive midwifery care, starting from pregnancy to family planning services.
Comprehensive care for Mrs. L.S, starting from the third trimester of pregnancy, the postpartum period to family planning services, documented using the Helen Varney method and the SOAP format.
Pregnancy care was given to Mrs. L.S 3 times according to standard care 10 T. Delivery care for Mrs. L.S was carried out by following 60 steps of Normal Childbirth Care, the baby was born spontaneously, weighing 3800 grams, length 50 cm, Chest Circumference 32 cm, Head Circumference 30 cm and APGAR Score was 8, and was given an injection of vitamin K and HB0 immunization and eye ointment. Postpartum care was carried out 3 times, visits, and mothers were taught proper breastfeeding techniques. Newborn care was also carried out 3 times and the mother was told to give exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months without additional food. Mothers choose MAL as a method of pregnancy control, and mothers have been informed about the side effects and disadvantages of this method.
Based on the results of the examination, comprehensive care for Mrs. L.S found no difficulties because patients, patient families and health workers could work together well.
