PENYULUHAN DAN SOSIALISASI PENCEGAHAN HIV/AIDS DENGAN LEAFLET SERTA PEMBENTUKAN KELOMPOK TEMAN SEBAYA PADA REMAJA DI SMA NEGERI 6 PEMATANGSIANTAR KEL. BAH KAPUL KECAMATAN SIANTAR SITALASARI

The purpose of this activity is to fulfill the rights of every student to gain
knowledge about HIV/AIDS prevention and the formation of peer groups,
Conducting information and education communication to students to increase
knowledge about HIV/AIDS prevention and the formation of peer groups.
Community service that will be implemented using counseling methods,
providing Leaflets, assessing adolescent knowledge with questionnaires,
questions and answers and practice and games in peer groups. From the results
of the distribution of leaflets and counseling given, there are still many students
who do not understand this counseling, marked by the high response of students
with questions after the counseling was carried out. The results of the study after
the experiment conducted by the researcher, there was an increase in student
learning outcomes after the use of leaflet media than before the experiment using
conventional media (student worksheets). The implementation of Peer Groups at
SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantar in addition to providing positive activities can
also be seen from the development of students after the Group was formed and in
the Decree from the KPAD of Pematangsiantar City.
