Abstract
Education on the factors of IMD, Exclusive Breastfeeding and MP-ASI for breastfeeding mothers in Stunting Prevention in Sitompul Village, Siatas Barita Health Center Working Area, North Tapanuli Regency. IMD can reduce 22% 28-day mortality. Breast milk given exclusively during the first 6 months of life can meet the baby's nutritional needs for growth and development. Some examples include, colostrum (breast milk on days 1-5) is rich in protein, breast milk lactose as a source of carbohydrates is absorbed better than that found in formula milk. Based on the age of the majority of mothers aged 20-35 years, namely 20 people (66.7%) and minorities aged >35 years, namely 10 (33.3). Based on education, 26 people (86%) and 4 people (13.3%) from tertiary institutions. Based on their occupation, the majority are farmers, 23 (76.7%) are minorities with self-employed work and 2 civil servants each (6.7%). Based on parity, the majority are multipara, namely 19 people (63.3%) and the Grande multipara minority are 2 people (6.7%). The majority of breastfeeding mothers' knowledge about IMD, ASI, Exclusive and MP ASI education factors with a sufficient level of knowledge was 25 people (83.3%) with only 2 people (6.7%) in the minority with good knowledge. The conclusion after implementation was that there was an increase in the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers with good knowledge to 100%.
